The idle should relearn by itself within a minute or so if there are no other problems. Was the battery changed/disconnected? Why do you think you need an idle relearn?

Old problem with cars, starter motor not cooperating after a drive. Would be the neutral safety switch misaligned or needs replacing if it hasn't been checked already. The exhaust would heat up the starter, solenoid, wire connection terminals. A heat shield on the starter and checking for tight connections.
Your better off taking it to the dealer , after replacing it needs to be programmed or it will not run . Information from the old has to be up loaded to GM Tech 2 scan tool to load on new one ! Then you would need to pay for a subscription to GM'S service programming system to get software to program new ECM .
Program the ECM. Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) in Programming. If you encounter an ECM programming error, with a display message of "Starting Disabled, Remove Key" on the driver information center, with a diagnostic test code (DTC) of P1631, perform the "10-Minute Relearn Procedure" found in Programming Theft Deterrent System Components. Refer to Programming Theft Deterrent System Components . Additional information can be found in service bulletin number 05524 A. Turn OFF the ignition for at least 5 seconds after the programming event is complete. Perform the idle learn procedure. Refer to Idle Learn . Use the scan tool to clear all DTCs.

There is none.Idle is controlled by your computer. If you have problems, check these. Vacuum lines behind throttle body. You may have to replace your air flow sensor. You can also try this:
Engine cold.
Turn your key to on position for a full minute. Don't start the car.
Turn key off for 10 seconds
Turn key on for 10 seconds. (Don't start)
Turn key off for 10 seconds. Then start the car. Might work but in all probability your main airflow sensor (MAP) is the problem.
you can replace battery with out effects.first turn off radio.before removing negative battery cable.when you install new battery, when you start the engine let it idle until get operating temperature.the computer will have to relearn it memory while engine idling operating temperature.open throttle a little see if engine hesitate. it will hesitate some, when you can accelerate with out hesitation,engine tps sensor has relearned it position.if idle speed stable engine dont run rough and stall out in drive your pcm has relearned itself where you can drive it.
