Once the battery have been unhooked is their a reset button and where is it located so the car can reset itself and start on a 2006 Buick Lucern

All systems should reset after disconnecting and reconnecting a good charged battery. However, before going any further you should remove the dead battery, have it checked and either replace it or charge it out of the vehicle. Then, install it and see if that works. If not, you probably will have to replace the BCM. Jump starting a dead battery is a very bad idea unless it is done very carefully, and even then, it can cause damage to modules.

We just spent $1000 Canadian at the Buick dealer having trouble shooting and repairs done on our 2006 Terraza.
One of the remotes had an internal broken circuit.

Had to replace the Body Control Module on the AZTEK.
Kissed another $1,000 goodbye.
Selling it.

Frankly, as long as they are working it's fine, but when they start to have problems, it is completely beyond the scope of THIS Fixya ****** to diagnose or attempt to repair.
Makes me want to sell and NEVER get another GM.

Was the battery disconnected during this repair? I can see no other reason ( unless something was disconnected and not reconnected during this repair ) for the vehicle to not start. If the battery was disconnected, you may have to apply the gas pedal to help it to start as the computer will need to relearn

After market alarm/remote start.

check the condition of the gasket,and or the mating surface,where the filter seats itself.also add a little oil the seal on the filter when installing it.

When parked on an incline, engage emergency brake FIRST, then shift into Park. Hope this helps! Works for my Buick.
