Check gauges light on, Temp gauge at 0, vehicle wont start.

i cant savvy this ? (gauges stuff) huh?
ill work no starts.

1. does engine crank robustly, you failed to say, and is #1 most important, i bet you can push start your car like me...
2. if it cranks , check fuses next.
3. then the cluster CEL lamp must glow, key on as must head lights key on or off. if not check fuses. (pretending it cranks ok)
4. next i scan the PCM while cranking, dang the DTC errors told me why it failing,,, IS SURE CAN.
5. then check for spark. got spark? on all unstated engine cylinders./?
6. then if sparks ok, try test fuel, if test fuel runs. 3seoonds?
7. yes, or no, if yes, then see if the ASD relay is dropping out , cranking if yes, the PCM will report DTCs but you forgot to look. so whats next , ASD is happen, next is FUELING ,note the order here...
8. I check fuel pressure and do a noid lamp check in injectors.
9. is engine flooding? ever get a tuneup this decade? if spark tips are wet, seems NOWs the TIME?

Could be connected, but could also be two different problems.
It could be something in the key switch, or a wiring problem. Or it could be a wiring problem with the temp gauge and something else causing the engine not to start.
Do you have spark and fuel pressure at the injectors ? And does the gas gauge work ?
