My 99 dodge stratus has a exhaust leak,i was driving down the road and it sounded like something slipped and the exhaust noise got 10 x louder, now its leaking alot of oil .... what could this be???

check the power steering pump.it could be something else but alot of them make noise. if it only makes the noise whrn going down the road maybe its not the engine, check the wheel bearings
if it gets quiter when u rock the a little going down left or right its a wheel bearing.be sure road is clear before doning this don't want to hurt on one.
try steering the the car to the right and the left while driving down the road. listen for the noise to get louder or quieter as you steer the car. which ever direction you steer and it gets louder it will be the bearing on the other side. for example if you turn right and it gets louder its the left bearing because you have just shifted the vechical weight to the left side by turning right. and also in that same situation the bearing would get quieter because you have just unloaded the left bearing and put the weight to the right side.
Overheating going down the road is usually caused by a faulty/clogged radiator. There isn't enough flow/cooling effect. Check for debris in the fins, or replace the radiator.
