Where is the undercarriage heat shild?

I didnt see the heat shild. it may fell off the car and i cannot find a diagram showing how it looks or its location. Can you show me a picture or diagram of the undercarriage heat shild showing where it located near the exhost pipe?. Thank you

Take the coin box out. There is diagram for the fuse of CIG lighter. 15 AMP small fuse. you might have replacement fuse under the hood(engine compartment, main fuse box where you will also find fuse removal tool)

First check your oil then locate the oil leak you may have punched a hole in the oil pan, the oil is hitting the hot exhaust manifold or pipes so look closely at valve covers and anything leaking onto the manifold.

around exhaust converter heat shield

Other underbody heat shields that rust away,
you remove the bolts & add a large washer

Rattle noise from distributor area. took off ac belt to see if it was the compressor and its still there. 2001 frontier 3.3 no SC. maybe alternater or distributor? thanks, jamie
look for engine pulling bracket may have bolts coming lose, could be heat shild on the exhust manifold or brackets of any sort may be coming lose.

Metal piece hanging in middle of undercarriage just behind wheels
It's likely the heat shield for the catalytic converter. There's really no repair for it. Mechanics won't usually spot weld it and they can't remove it. Apart from a little rattle now and then, there's really nothing to worry about.
