RESTART VEHICLE AFTER BATTERY CHANGED

Computer reset for starters
Second alternator is failing get tested
Third fuel filter and pump
These are the norms for routine maintenance with battery change
Since battery died we know it wasnt getting voltage on the road
Or it was getting it intermitently
The alternator can pass tests intermitently
When checked
The best old fasioned way of testing alternator run vehicle disconnect from battery positve side
Let run if power drop or car stops alternator needs replaced
Battery is only good for starting a vehicle
All other power like accessories comes from a transformer in vehicle that stores voltage
Youll see in car a second bar with ground and power going to it this is your transformer do not jump accross transformer
Other then mentioned above routine maintenance is needed

Hi I have Kia sorento 2003 and my trouble is idle go up to 3000rpm to shift from 1 to 2 and the idel some time no stable go at round 200to 500 rpm with OBD 2 code P1330. your help will be appreciated...

Dear Allamid,

Seems to me like you need angine diagnostics performed. Your idle speed is way to high here. Mapping the engine should pinpoint and solve the problem. This is typic\lly done by nothing more than plugging a laptop into the onboard computer that governs the engine.

By the sounds of the OBD code that you have, you already knew thisabove procedure.Even so, have the Engine management unit checked, and get someone to check thermostat, engine timing, and might be worth having a full service done.

If you still dont get anywhere with this, get in touch with me andI will investigate the matter thoroughly for you,but in the meantime I do hope that this actually does resolve your issue.

yours sincerely
