Fuse for gas tanl release cap

So this morning I stop to fill up with fuel and I can't put the nozzle in the tank! ... station where their fuel nozzle didn't "fit" the capless thing so the door didn't open. ... InInside the drivers door in the back of the storage compartment is the switch to open the fuel door.

DOES THIS VEHICLE HAVE A POWER GAS CAP OPENER. IF SO THEN THE ACTUATOR WHICH RELEASES THE FUEL DOOR IS NOT WORKING

it sounds like to me the cable may have broke or came unhooked. i'm not sure with your car if you have one cable or two seperate cables going to trunk and the fuel tank. what you may be able to do, is take the cover off of the release and look at the cable if it is broke or unhooked you can take the piece of cable that is sticking out and use a pair of needle nose pliers and pull on the cable manually and it may release it.

Is this a lever or button you pull or push? If it's a button than it must be electric and there is likely a fuse somewehre in the link for both trunk and gas lid that may be under the dash, by the engine, or somwhere else.

If it's a lever than it's likely a cable that runs back to them...but not sure how BOTH would be 'broken'. Does the lever feel 'different' as in loose or less tension than in the past?

Open the hatch and look for the cable and pull it hard to release the cap.

isn't there a MANUAL RELEASE CABLE in the trunk ? Check for a blown 20A fuse. Ck fuse around fuse # 22. Hope this helps
