I keep having the engine drive belt come off during heavy rainfalls, have replaced with new belt but still is happening. What else can I di to stop this?

if you recently have a pulley replace or service that is where your problem is, your belts usually comes off because of a bad or broken pulley lip.

Water leak on rear driver's side after a moderate to heavy rainfall. Car is 2002 Passat. Help, please. A good amount of water is collected, and it is only on rear floormat of the vehicle, driver's side.

Bummer, lift the carpet and pad to properly dry the area. you will have mold and musty smell forever if not completely dry. ideally with a fan.

Look at sunroof drains, look at door drains and door seal. Look in trunk, look at back glass.

Water coming through tailgate on 2005 Honda Odyssey

Definitely problem with gaskets if there is no hole in the body of the car. You mentioned your rear lock then check the gasket around the lock.

My 1994 Honda Accord won't start. Lights work, though. Any ideas?

It could be related. You may have moisture in the distributor cap. Check to see if ytou have sufficiant spark and fuel. If no spark then start with removing the distributor cap and checking for moisture.

1998 ford mustang will not stay started after heavy rainfall.

if its sputtering and misfiring , i can almost guarantee you its the distributor, i've have 3 mustangs over 15 yrs and any problems i had after a rainfall or during one was always an ignition problem, usually a bad spark plug wire, or a crack or split on the the cap letting moisture in.
