Theres few things to look at
check plug wires for tightness
check the rotor cap. if secured, looking for cracks in case of rotor cap, remove the spring loaded screws to the cap look inside the cap looking for crack, burned parts, each connected all look a like, replace rotor cap, with a v-8 firing order i find it hard to have an issue where all cylinders are just firing on one side. if this is the case
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
ignition box or system
xxxxxx
it is the rotor cap and condenser and computer this is a free service. If you are AAA member they do the test for free
depending where you live in this country state and city, some auto parts stores have device called trilingual code reader, they plug it into the car and it goes to the computer troubleshoots the car, gives them a code, if they have the parts they sale it to you and help you install the part if it is easy fix, major work they dont do that work.
or
they will tell you that that is a dealers part only and you have to go to the dealer or call car recycle parts store see if they can get you one or its a dealer part only.
used parts salvage yards, online, ebay,

New spark plugs new wires old distributor timing changed wen nee plugs were put on, clockwise or counterclockwise, don't know, besides the battery what firing order V8 305?

I don't know your year--make--model? You should be able to remove dist cap, crank the engine, watch which way the rotor turns, then you know the direction of rotation. Most chevy rwd v8, firing order, 18436572. The driver side bank is odd numbered, 1357.
The passenger side bank is even numbered, 2468 from front to back. Put your number one piston on tdc of compression stroke. Then whichever spark plug tower the rotor is leading into, should be number one, then you follow the firing order around the cap.

I PULLED THE SPARK PLUG WIRES AND NOW I NEED THE FIRING ORDER PLEASE

iF it is a v8, the firing order will be ( 18436572 ) with number one on drivers side. Front to back on drivers side will be ( 1357 ) and passenger side will be front to back ( 2468 ) and if is not a v8, you probably should re-post the problem with the engine size, and how many cylinders and someone should have the answer for you.

I need to know where the plug wires go.from spark plug to distibuter cap on a 1986 4.1 coupe deville(cad.)

FIRING ORDERS NOTE: To avoid confusion, remove and tag the spark plug wires one at a time, for replacement. If a distributor is not keyed for installation with only one orientation, it could have been removed previously and rewired. The resultant wiring would hold the correct firing order, but could change the relative placement of the plug towers in relation to the engine. For this reason it is imperative that you label all wires before disconnecting any of them. Also, before removal, compare the current wiring with the accompanying illustrations. If the current wiring does not match, make notes in your book to reflect how your engine is wired. Location of spark plugs for a 03 explorer ( v8 4.6l )

Most likely does not have wires. It should have coil packs on the plugs. If it does have wires, should be the 1st cylinder on the drivers side of the engine in a V6, rear cylinder on passenger side of the V8.
