Lost the operators guide? in the glove box.
katrina, what part of country,?
Key West or Alaska.? (the -4f rule is clear)
the opr. guide explains all that... by climate.
page 5-8 in fact does that.
ill post it now.
and the words.
"• SAE 5W-30
As shown in the viscosity chart, SAE
5W-30 is the only viscosity grade recommended
for your vehicle. However, if it's
going to be -4°F (-20°C) or above and
SAE 5W-30 is not available, you may use
SAE 10W-30.
These numbers on an oil container show
its viscosity, or thickness. Do not use
other viscosity oil such as SAE 10W-40
or SAE 20W-50 under any conditions."

You can get the code from the dealer but call first, if there going to charge you a crazy amount, try 0000 first then try www.radio-code.com. They can get your radio working again for less then the dealer. Keep me posted and let me know if you got your radio activated again.

Which engine oil I should use for my 2003 kia optima 2.0 LX . It has done almost 142000 km.

any oil will work. pennzoil ,castrol etc just depends on what brand you want to use.
( my opinion is that they're all the same) what you need to do is get the oil "viscosity" that kia recommends. its probably gonna be 5w-30 or 10w-30. it's also gonna be listed on a sticker under your hood.
any oil will work any viscosity. it really does not matter ( as long as you have some oil )
*but the guidelines for each vehicle say that if you use the viscosity they tell you to ( your car should perform the best it can with that grade oil )

I Don't know what type of oil to put in my 1992 honda accord

This is right from the owner's manual: Recommended Engine Oil: API Premium grade 5W-20 detergent oil . 5W-20 oil is formulated for yearround protection of your Honda, to improve cold weather starting, and to help your engine use less fuel. If 5W-20 oil is not available, a 5W-30 oil may be used. However, it should be replaced with 5W-20 at the next oil change. ---------- for more help in how to change oil and oil filter in your Honda car please click the link below. https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/om/AC0202/AC0202O00250A.pdf Thanks. Castrol extended milage oil. Go to Autozone and they will set you up with the correct rating 5w-30,10w-30 or whatever their specs say for the season of the year, as well as an oil filter and washer for the drain plug.

I don't have the book for my car. What type of

I have a 96 accord, same motor, my recommendations on this model are 2 different kinds, 5w-30 or 10w-30. the 5W-30 is the preferred. as for which brand, I choose to go with Penzoil synthetic or synthetic blend. both are a little more expensive than regular oil. Castrol is another great choice and Valvoline has a high mileage oil out on the market. Stick with a 5W-30 and choose your brand. Good Luck!
