If the sunroof won't close because of a mechanical problem with the rails or cables you have a complex and quite expensive problem to deal with.
I suggest you first check there are no foreign bodies jamming the works such as pebbles, pine cones, conkers and suchlike.
If there is no clicking or sounds of effort from the electric motor try checking the fuse(s).
If the thing remains electrically dead it should be possible to close it manually. Sunroof motors are generally fairly easy to locate and expose and they are easily removed from the gearbox. Once the motor has been removed a suitable driver can be inserted into the gearbox and the mechanism turned by hand to close the sunroof.
The instructions for doing this are often contained in the vehicle owner's handbook and sometimes an emergency sunroof cranking handle is provided in the toolkit.
