IT IS ABOUT WHERE DO I GET THE DESCRIPTION OF ALL OF THE CODES FOR A 1993 CADILLAC SEVILLE SLS WITH A 4.9L V-8

There are test strips you can get at auto parts stores to check for exhaust gas in coolant.

Not unless you want to cut a hole in the metal.
There is no access panel from the factory that I know of.

One is fuel pump relay ,has pink with black stripe wire an gray wire .Another is RSS damper relay ,or could be the three cooling fan relays ,pink with white stripe power wires .There is no relay for the instrument cluster .

These instrument clusters were prone to fail !

go google and type in --- fault codes for 1993 cadillac seville--
the first site is cadillac OBD codes -- and if you click on that site you will find a page cadillac pages
page 2 in the middle column there is a section cadillac seville 1993-1995 4.6 L at the bottom of that column
click on it and the fault codes appear
if you right click on the screen , a print section should appear and you can take a snapshot of the screen and any screen page after that so that you can get a hard copy of the fault codes

1994/1996 Part #E3913M Fits the following 1994-1996 Cadillac Seville submodels:

1994-1996: SLS; 8 Cyl 4.6L; "FI, Naturally Aspirated, VIN Y"
1994-1996: STS; 8 Cyl 4.6L; "FI, Naturally Aspirated, VIN 9

1039 = (4.6L engine) loss of road sensing data.

1039 = (4.9L) engine) SSS (speed sensitive suspension)signal loss.

The 1039 code requires extensive diagnostic testing.

I had same issue. 1994 Cadillac Seville SLS serp diagrams not like my engine. Found that it is the same as 1993 Cadillac STS Northstar!

1996 cadillac sls. Oil light comes on and car stalls. Oil is full

neither the 93 seville is just that it's the 4.9 liter before the northstar sts 4.6 came out in same year
