Emission light came on and so did reduce power light. It happens when I quickly excellerate from 10 mph but will reset if turned off

Engine management computer defaults can be reset using diagnostic equipment though I am guessing that isn't the problem.

Emission testing isn't possible until the catalytic converter "lights up" and the post-cat oxygen sensor reads the sudden drop in emissions expected by the engine management system, which if everything is good should happen in just a couple of miles of ordinary driving.

I expect the CAT isn't lighting up and/or the post-CAT O2 sensor isn't providing the expected emissions.
High oil consumption or unburned fuel can quickly reduce the efficiency of both sensors and CAT and soon render the system inoperative - often without raising a code, though the situation should be fairly obvious using a good scanner and checking live data.

The root cause could be a dribbling fuel injector or bad valve stem oil seals or something else along those lines...

Take to a transmission shop, likely you need overhaul or replacement.

With GM vehicles a Reduced Engine Power message has to do with the electronic throttle control .

Check and clean the connections on your battery first. If that doesn't work, some have said it turned out to be a problem w/ the throttle connector on their rides. It happened to me ( I had the reduced power light on my 2001 tahoe and was restricted to 15-20 mph max) and I started w/ the battery. Worked like a champ for me!

Probably you should check or change your filters. Air and fuel. Fuel filter is most likely.

The code is Torque Converter Clutch solenoid valve. Need to have it check or replace.
