SOURCE: how do i fix code po420 & po430 on 2003 jaguar

Both these codes relate to Catalyst efficiency below threshold on banks 1+2. This is normally caused by a combustion fault. This fault may be shown due to a faulty sensor in either air imput or exhaust systems, Get the memory read at a dealers or good garage. If you had a serious problem the car would not drive well.
Hope this helps - good luck.

SOURCE: my jaguar 2001 x type jag has a warning on

The DSC light stands for Dynamic Skid Control or in lawmen's terms Traction Control. If the light stays on you have a problem with this system. You will need to have it diagnosed by someone who has the tools and expertise to find the problem. More than likely you are going to have to take it to a Jaguar dealer.

What does the code DSC Fault System mean on a 2003 x-type 2.5 Jaguar it comes on when the engine is running it doesn't stay on all the time.

Could be all sorts of things, you need to get the code read when it illuminates, most good service stations can do this for you at minimal cost. Once you have the code you can look up the problem on http://www.bluejag.co.uk

unhook the battery for about 15 minutes, that will reset the computer. if you have an anti-theft radio. make sure you know the code first.

Jaguar 2003 S Type

1 More info needed for disc fault = what are you trying to do to make this disc message appear?

2 The car picture is the dsc switched off - but this message should disappear if the ignition is turned off and on again as the dsc is on by default. If this dsc message keeps reappearing then you may have a fault in braking or sensors that is triggering this message - get it investigated.
