My sound just quit on my car stereo, radio is on but no sound

Sounds like you have blown a fuse. Start there. If not, it is possible you have blown the stereo itself.

yup, it quit. easier to get an aftermarket stereo and compatible install kit.

Yes it can be Amp problem,but there are many other possibilities like loose connection,radio wires getting short.

Seen this problem before on mustangs, usually you have to replace the stereo unit, complete with cd player. water leak under dash probably had nothing to do with it.

just buy a new radio one with usb and SD card and bluetooth capabilities ,cheaper in the long run

THAT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE THE RADIO CONNECTED WRONG.. REMOVE THE ALL POWER FROM THE BACK OF THE STEREO. AND CHECK AGAIN, ONE OF OR TWO OF THE POWER WIRES TO THE ORIGINAL STEREO ARE FOR DIMMING THE LIGHTS NOT TO BE USED AS A HIGHER AMP OPERATION.

speaker noise in car at all times even with key off,Radio does not work,Goes away when removing radio fuse or power door lock fuse.Does not quit when radio is unplugged including speaker wires.
