There is a difference in the operation of a HO2S and a O2 sensor and replacing the wrong will not fix the problem
one(HO2S) reads the gas mixture before the cat converter and the other (O2)after the cat converter

SOURCE: trouble code 1131 lack of ho2s bank 1 sensor 1 switches sensor

if sensor indicates lean check the fuel trim if long term fuel trim is above +7 them test sensor with a piko lab scope or watch scan data and create a rich condtion by snping the throttle wide open and watch the sensor if it start to read around 700to 900mv its ok, then create a vacume leak and the sensor should read 100to 300mv i your sensor is in this range quickly its good with in 1to2 sec.

What would cause codes P0053,54,59,60 and cause 06 chevy Silverado not to start or try and then die?

These code's don't have anything to do with ignition switch . What engine does it have ?
Engine Controls - 4.3L , 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L
• DTC P0053 for HO2S bank 1 sensor 1
• DTC P0054 for HO2S bank 1 sensor 2
• DTC P0059 for HO2S bank 2 sensor 1
• DTC P0060 for HO2S bank 2 sensor 2
The heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) must reach operating temperature to provide an accurate voltage signal. A heating element inside the HO2S minimizes the time required for the sensor to reach operating temperature. Voltage is provided to the heater by the ignition 1 voltage circuit through a fuse. With the engine running, ground is provided to the heater by the HO2S heater low control circuit, through a low side driver within the powertrain control module (PCM). The PCM commands the heater ON or OFF to maintain a specific HO2S operating temperature range. The PCM determines the temperature by measuring the current flow through the heater. When the heater is in the ON state, the PCM will pulse the heater OFF for a duration of 50 ms, once per second. The PCM calculates the heater resistance on a cold start. This diagnostic will only run once per ignition cycle. If the PCM detects that the heater calculated resistance is not within the expected range, the following DTCs will set:
With all these code's ,i would check O2 sensor's heater circuit power supply . Fuse blown .
O2 A & O2 B fuse's under hood fuse box , then check for melted wires on exhaust manifold or exhaust pipe .

06 Chevy Silverado code p0053 and p0135

DTC P0053 HO2S Heater Resistance Bank 1 Sensor 1
• DTC P0135 HO2S Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1
Important: Whenever the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) heaters are commanded ON with a scan tool, they will continue to be pulsed ON once per second until the ignition is turned OFF for 30 seconds.
Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
Command the HO2S heaters ON with a scan tool.
Wait 15 seconds to allow the HO2S heater current to stabilize.
Observe the affected HO2S Heater Current parameter with a scan tool.
Is the HO2S Heater Current parameter within the specified range?
0.25-1.375 A

Po136-o137 says change 02 sensor on bank 1 sensor2 I did but engine light is still on 2004 chevy tahoe

code p 0136 refers to heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 2 bank 1 ---circuit malfunction===causes ---heating inoperative ---wiring---HO2S--- ECM
also refers to oxygen sensor (O2S0 2 bank 1---circuit malfunction===causes --- wiring---O2S ---ecm
it also refers to heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 2 bank 1 ---no signal===causes ---wiring --- HO2S---
code p 0137 refers to HO2S 2 bank 1 ---low voltage -===causes --exhaust leak---wiring short to ground ---HO2S--- ECM
it also refers to O2S 2 bank 1---low voltage ===causes exhaust leak---wiring short to ground ---O2S ---ECM
to set you up here-- there are 4 oxygen sensors in the system
2 are heated oxygen sensors (HO2S) on in each exhaust manifold or exhaust pipe before the cat converter and
2 oxygen sensors (O2S) -- one in each exhaust pipe after the cat converters
heated oxygen sensors have 4 wires and O2S sensors normally only 2 wires
it is more that possible that you changed the wrong sensors and in the process damaged the delicate wires with the incorrect spanner being used

Check engine light is on and i got error code p1133. what is that?

Faulty Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 1
- Vacuum leak
- Faulty Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 1 harness is open or shorted
- Faulty Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 1 circuit poor electrical connection

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) activity for 90 seconds after closed loop operation has begun. The PCM determines if the front HO2S is functioning properly by counting the number of HO2S-1 Lean/Rich (L/R) and Rich/Lean (R/L) switches.

If the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) determines that the front HO2S did not switch enough times, the PCM will set the P1133 code.

replace the o2 sensor

Check engine lite, codes P0151, P0153, P1151, mechanic says incorrect voltage from PCM, replace PCM

CODE PO151 - HO2S - 21 BANK 2 SENSOR 1 CIRCUIT LOW INPUT. CODE PO153- HO2S BANK 2 SENSOR 1 CIRCUIT SLOW RESPONSE. CODE P1151 - LACK OF HO2S - 21 SWITCHING HO2S SIGNAL LOW INPUT. POSSIBLE CAUSES TO YOUR PROBLEM AIR INTAKE SYSTEM LEAKING VACUUM HOSES LEAKING OR DAMAGED.AIR LEAKS LOCATED AFTER THE MAF SENSOR MOUNTING LOCATION OR IN THE PCV SYSTEM. YOU COULD HAVE BASE MECHANICAL FAULT LIKE LOW CYLINDER COMPRESSION , VALVE TIMING OFF.HO2S CIRCUITS WET OR OILY CORRODED OR POOR TERMINAL CONTACT. HO2S SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN SHORTED TO GROUND SHORTED TO POWER OR THE SENSOR HAS FAILED. LOW FUEL PRESSURE OR VECHICLE DRIVEN UNTIL IT WAS OUT OF FUEL. BEFORE REPLACING PCM CHECK ALL VACUUM HOSES ON INTAKE MANIFOLD. REPLACE FUEL FILTER. CHECK YOUR SPARK PLUGS. IF SPARK PLUGS OIL COATED PROBLEM IN THE ENGINE ITSELF. YOU HAVE WORN PISTON RINGS, WORN VALVE GUIDES AND WORN VALVE SEALS. IF PCM WAS BAD YOU WOULD HAVE FLASHING CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAR WOULD RUN POORLY.YOU WILL HAVE FAULT PCM CODE IF PCM FAILED. YOUR PROBLEM IN HO2S SENSORS AND THE ENGINE AIR FUEL MIXTURE.
