You probably have a hitch w/the wiring installed for it hooked into these systems, always check there and I've found the short at this location almost everytime. If its not check your backup light connection, usually behind the left tail light, as it rubs on the body and wears through the insulation on the wire. Also re-do your grounds.

Fuses blow for a short circuit
preventing Infinite current and a fire. (battery can do upto 1000 amps)

a TECH uses his ammeter to see the short.
then unplugs all loads on the feed. bingo it the X device is shorted.
if lucky and not a harness short.
we finds that with the same tool.. ask how..... if frisky.....

You will have to check the positive wire of the wires that go to the parking and side marker lights for a short to ground.Check the easy things first like the bulbs for these lights. It could just be a shorted bulb. You can remove one at a time and see when the fuse stops blowing. You an get a short finder from a part store and save the trouble of getting a bunch of fuses.Hope this helps.Good luck.

SOURCE: 2000 jeep wrangler fuse keeps blowing?? What do I

That or the wiring to it is shorted at some point. Remove the connection at the center back of the socket and replace the fuse--if ok, replace or repair the socket. If still blows fuse, check the wire you removed for damage near any metal object.

2000 A6 BLOWS #25 FUSE

A/C keeps blowing the fuse after I got it recharged. Its the R-12 system and it seemed to be ok before but now I got it recharged and replaced the blower motor in the front and now as soon as I turn it on it blows the fuse. I replaced the 3 fuse black and even rewired the fuses then took off the connectors tot he rotary switch and replaced those but it still blows the fuse. Any suggestions?

Could I have messed something up on installing the blower motor. __________________

I need a diagram for the under hood fuse box. More importantly the specific 20 amp fuse labeled F21. What is it for. I have a 1998 jeep wrangler 4.0 4wd.

Are you sure that this is for 20AMP, according with the repair manual, the position 20 in the Power Distribution Center if for Power Motor ABS Pump, and is 10AMP.

Verify it..

Our brake lights keep going out, the Stop LPS Fuse keeps popping. My husband checked wires, nothing looked wrong. He replaced the brake lamp switch and fuse still popped. Now he's checking actual tail...

check to see if someone has installed a tow hitch on the rear, they would have spliced in the wiring in the rear of vehicle, thats where i find alot of corroded wire that were poorly taped.

Fuel ECU fuse keeps blowing (30 amp)

Your fuel pump is internally binding and causing the fuse to blow. Change the pump (and filter while you're back there.)
