Does anyone know the wiring diagram for a 1993 geo prizm's stereo? I'm hooking up a new stereo and not quite sure of the wire colors.

Does the two plugs fit together? Wiring color will not match as aftermarket speaker wire use light grey, dark grey, green, and purple where factory wire uses blue, green, dark blue, and tan

If you are putting in a after market sterio,you need to go to autozone or walmart and get a sterio plug that plugs into your factory plug and the wiring diagram will be with your new plug that you bought,real easy!!

Check with a Volt meter for 12 v constant and 12v when key is turn it on and a ground . The rest of them is speaker wires, to check the speaker wires all u need is s AAA or AA battery. Put the wire on each end of the battery + and - with two wires you will hear speaker static then you know which speaker..

And then use included plug wiring diagram and receiver's wiring diagram in manual to hook 'em up. (I used crimp connectors)
