Yes, very easy...here is the steps to do it:
To Remove:
- Disconnect battery negative cable.
- Remove air cleaner inlet pipe.
- Disconnect alternator electrical connections.
- Loosen (but do not remove) pivot bolt and tensioner mounting bolt.
- Remove drive belt form alternator pulley.
- Remove tensioner mounting bolt and belt tensioner.
- Remove pivot bolt, loosen adjusting bracket bolt and rotate bracket up.
- Remove alternator.
To Install:
- Place alternator on engine.
- Install (but do not tighten) pivot bolt.
- Rotate bracket down on top of alternator.
- Install belt tensioner and install bolt loosely.
- Install drive belt on alternator pulley.
- Tighten tensioner bolt to 14-19 ft lb (19-26 Nm).
- Tighten pivot bolt and bracket bolt to 28-38 ft lb (38-51 Nm).
- Connect alternator electrical connections.
- Install air cleaner inlet pipe.
- Connect battery negative cable.
