SOURCE: ford f150 2002 has no brake lights

yes there is. Above the brake pedal there is a switch tat turns the lights on when you press the pedal. It is tough to replace due to the lack o room to put your hands. but is an inexpensive part.

Testimonial: "i have already replaced that switch and still no lights, thanks though, i appreciate your time and help"

SOURCE: 94 wrangler. All my brake lights don't work

The ground is actually connected to the brass part of the bulb. The part of the socket that touches the brass part. If you use a test light that is properly grounded and it lights when you touch it to the bump inside the bottom of the socket that the bottom (lead) part of the bulb touches, and when someone presses on the brake the test light goes on, then the socket ground is bad. I've seen tons of them completely rot off. Many times no one notices when one lamp is out 'till the other one goes out. So it may not be a wiring problem. 99% of all failures I've ever seen were at the wiring end connections, not in the long run inside the vehicle where they are well protected. Make sure there is voltage going into the switch and out of the switch when the brake is depressed. Otherwise anything you do in the back won't work.

What could be my problem with brAkE-lights flashers and turn signals?

FUSES BAD OR MODULES AND SWITCHES
NO BCM brain box here.
USA car , canada is NO THE SAME electrics !!!!
so flashers means turns, and turns are dead all 4 corners or what? all flasters is HAZARD lamps switch
parks work.(tails and front parks)
turns fail all 4 corners(not told) and hazards dead too all four corners and brake lamps all 3 rear dead.
do not break the brake lamps.
grounds to all lamps good,(the failed ones)
0vdc on ground.
fuses are always first, a 20cent fix. is way and childs play test (or a look)
fuse 1 and 9 not blown in IP BOX x2 , 15amps
OMG fuse 9 runs brake lamps. is this clue , YES
the next in LINE is Electronic flaster not bad.
5 wires and the black ground wire not busted.G204
next in line is the very complex MULTIswitch (column)
next is the BRAKE PEDAL switch NOT BAD.
if not bad 12vdc (push brake pedal) leaves the switch
R/GL wire to all brake lamps including 3 center high mounted lamp and its G300 ground

fix brake lamps only first.
fix that and others get fixed for free (shirt tails free)
to test lamps at rear for brakes the pedal must be depressed . a 2 man job.
fuse 9, hot both sides. and is hot all the time bat side.
brake switch LG/R wire hot all the time key off too.
light green red !
step on brake R/LG goes hot, now. if not switch is bad
Red/light green. (means)

No turn signals

You will need a new multifunction switch, not a fuse. this is a simple repair. Remove the upper cover from the steering wheel and then slide the multiswitch up and off. that's it

2005 chevy venture brake lights not working. 3rd light works. fuse looks good. changed switch. what left to check?

Try this push down on brake pedal while you push in or wiggle the hazard switch. If the brake lights come on then that means you turn signal switch is faulty.

I bought a 1995 truck and the brake lights aren't working I noticed ythat the hazzard light switch is busted up could that be the source of my problem

Check the fuses. And check for power at the taillights (These taillights have circuit boards on the back side that can go bad.) I don't think the hazard switch is it because the brakes would still work. Also check the brake pedal switch. There is a hazard flasher, does the hazards work?

Bottom brake lights and hazard lights do not come on. All other lights work including top brake lights. Fuses and bulbs checked.

Check for power out of brake light switch by brake pedal. Of its faulty , the 3rd brake light will still work. Hope this helps
