Does the fuse blow on both left and right sides,or just blows randomly or as soon as you put the new fuse in?
Does it have tilt steering?I would check the wiring in the steering column to start.
fuses blow from over current( dead short) they are rated at lower than what is required so that the wire doesn't burn
If you keep putting in bigger fuses without fixing the dead short, eventually the wire will melt the plastic insulation off and the vehicle will burn
did you follow both fuse wires,
there are up to 3 fuses there.
one is alternator. if the fuse goes to the big alternator wire
the alternator is shorted inside, (diode pack blown)
that is how i do it.
you can read the FSM , its there

I have replaced the corroded and burnt front signal socket as I was told that could be part of the problem. Now another person tells me that if I do not have the oem flasher unit this might be the culprit.?????? Rather then listening to people telling you it's this or that , if you can't view a wiring diagram an use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter an test the circuits an find the problem , your best bet mite be to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop. There are a lot of training videos on youtube for leaning how to trouble shoot these type problems . This is how professional technicians learned ! Electric Testing Techniques You Need to Know Mastering Voltage Drop Testing with Pete Meier and Jerry Truglia
If the fuse blowes you have a direct short to ground on the B+ voltage supply circuit for the right turn signals .
Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine . Under system click on lighting , then under subsystem click on exterior lighting . Click the search button then the last blue link..
When does the fuse blow ? As soon as you turn right signal on ? As soon as you install a new fuse ? How to test for short to ground ohmmeter vs test light Don't rely on others , learn to test ,not guess .
is the fuse a 15 or higher, if so you probably have a dead short in the wiring, like the positive wire is touching metal somewhere on the body or chassis
In the Fuse Relay Box under the Hood there is a Headlight Relay. Replace this Relay along with a New Fuse and it should work. Let me Know. Please Rate my Response, I need all the Help That I can Get! Thanks!
You have a short in the lighting system. Try removing both brake bulbs and with a new fuse installed.. does it still blow the fuse? If not, then install one bulb at a time and repeat the test.. You probably have a short in or around the bulb socket.. Hope this helps
