Where cabin air filter on 2004 chevrolet silverado

I'm not sure on an 04', but my 01' Silverado has it mounted to the inner frame rail (under the truck) on the drivers side just behind the drivers door. The fuel line comes out of the tank, runs along the frame, goes into the filter, then continues on to the engine bay.

at the bottom of air box there is a strip about an inch wide with a 7 mm bolt attached at the bottom near firewall remove bolt and strip and you will see filters

did you try looking in the passenger side under the glove box it should be a rectangle door with a release handle there.
