Jay nailed it. Its your catalytic converter. Its clogged and is choking engine. A good way to check is to start car and while in neutral, put a piece of cardboard near exhaust and push on accelerator. If restricted then there wont be much exhaust escaping and the car will also bog down while in neutral.

Sounds like catalytic converters beginning to plug up and or dirty fuel injectors. Either one will slowly get worse. Try seafoam inj cleaner 1st a couple of times n see what happens. Good luck

Bogs down when i accelerate

Make sure your injectors are all working i had a s10 with two injectors and one was not working right and it bogged down. And fuel pressure can cause this.

96 Jimmy bogs down when I accelerate hard

Sounds like the fuel filter is getting clogged. It will flow enough fuel for normal driving, but can't supply fuel for full throttle acceleration, causing the engine to bog down. Replacing the fuel filter with a new one should fix the problem.
