its very likley that your fuse is blown. If you look it should be something like injectors a+b
SOURCE: 97 z71 vortec 5.7 replaced fuel pump.getting fuel but won't start
The # 5 cylinder is miss firing. not getting fuel. Could the injector just be stopped or the crankshaft sensor in gone.

Begin by spraying all attachment bolts with a good solvent, then remove fill neck at the top. (where you put gas in) Disconnect harness, remove attachment bolts part way, support tank with a jack. disconnect one side and let the tank come down a bit, then disconnect fuel and vent lines etc. Label them so you know where to put them back. (Many have plastic couplers for which parts stores sell a tool to remove them without damage...have that tool on hand before you begin) Remove other fastener and lower tank to the ground. It's best to have the tank nearly empty to begin, but if not, it really isn't too bad coming down. Definitely empty it and clean the insides out before putting it back up though. The pump itself is held in either by a collar that is turned and locks in place or a "c" clip around the perimeter. Make sure that you clean the "o" ring under the mount plate and put it back on re-assembly. Use care when removing and re-installing pump that you do not damage the float arm or you will have a gas gauge problem later.
No smoking within at least fifty feet and no electric power tools or drop lights. Gasoline is relatively safe to work around as long as there are no sparks or open flames anywhere nearby. If they are, it is very dangerous.

I just a very similar issue with my 1997 Chevy K1500. I changed all of the fuel components and the issue turned out to be the two prong thermostat sensor on the front of the engine. If your car will start by pressing the gas pedal all the way to floor then the issue most likely is the same. A code engine reading from that sensor will cause the vehicle to not shift into overdrive, degrade gas mileage, and make the truck hard to start when the engine is warm. If it isn't starting when cold check the fuel pressure at the injectors turn the key on and the pressure should go to about 65 psi and when you turn the key off the pressure should hold to about 60 psi.
