Replaced fuel pump on golf cart, not getting full power to move cart forward or back

Won't pump enough fuel to fire up the golf cart to full power. Is there something else I can try? Even spraying ether into the carb won't get it to fire up all the way

If the Cart sat for months, I would bet the ethanol gas gummed up your carb. Ethanol gas.... What are our politicians thinking????

Why dosent my 1989 ezgo golf cart will not start it has spark and gas change the spark plug has good spark butwont even try to start thank you good compression around 80 psi

As long as you have fire, fuel and air to the engine it should run. Can you spray fuel into the carb and get it to start. May be a bad fuel pump.
Check the exhaust and make sure it is not plugged cause if so then the fuel will not get pulled into the cyl due to putting to much back pressure on the cylinder.

My club car gas golf cart was running good then al the sudden wont go over idle speed

Perhaps it's a stuck carburetor float valve, bad fuel pump (if it has one) or clogged fuel filter.

I have a golfcart G16A and the motor wont move

Yes, the G16A is a Yamaha, petrol powered engine.

Check the following:

Spark plugs, leads and coil

Fuel filter, air filter, and fuel pump.

Also check your battery voltage.

Fuel Delivery?

did you check the old pump?
were you sure that there was power to it?
i have run into this many times that people replace the pump without checking power?
so do you have power to the pump?
i have had a bad wiring harness or bad connection do this same thing. and when the fuel pump is removed the wiring gets moved around and make a connection again but not for long.
so chek power as close to the pump as you can
