Describe your 1996 Chrysler Town & Country Problem the van ran yesterday from cincinnati to sandusky. after stopping the van it would not restart last night nor this morning. It is getting spark, all of the fuses are whole, and there is a smell of gas after cranking a while. Is there something to check before taking it in for diagnostics.

of fuel tank, mounted on frame rail in fuel line.
HAVE SOMEONE EXTRACT THE CODE FROM THE CAR'S COMPUTER. IF THERE IS A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON THEN THE PCM HAS A CODE STORED ON IT. IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE A THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR, BUT JUST CHECK THE CODE TO BE SURE. SOME OF THESE CAN ALSO HAVE A BAD IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU TO FIND THE PROBLEM.
