Take out the bulb. Run some fine emery cloth inside the socket and the bulb contacts. Reseat & try it again.

Best is to work with a factory schematic.
this is and odd options, called RR-FOG , not sure why it exists but..
the FSM covers it , and is fuse 37.(RR FOG)

NOT REAR DEFROST ! or REAR DEFOGGER!
Not front fog.

no 12vdc , my first thoughts are bad fuse then bad relay.
but could be bad wiring...
bad wiring means , end to end, and with all connectors end to end.
(connections. bad)

The BCM controls most this stuff.
ever consider scanning it, ?
if it scans and shows, RR-FOG relay output dead.
would not that help>
????

my online FSM books skips this page.
FF-FOG.

it is here for 4 bucks, the rear deal.

How do I change the front driver side light bulb in a 03 Suzuki Grand Vitara 1.6?

Danielle, On the driver side you may have stuff in the way, which may have to be removed, to change bulb. Sometimes it is easier to remove headlight then change bulb and reassemble. Videos attached make it look fairly easy to change he bulb with out removal of headlight.
Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck.

2006 Hi there, my suzuki grand vitara harzard lamps have stopped working. all the fuses are ok some one said to check the relay ? can any one help

Q1: all 4 dead?
Q2: do blinkers work ? hummmm
alldata.com covers all this, log in and read>?
does car run perfectly
do all other lamps work? full bright head lights.
cranks fast not slow
battery charged? main car battery?
then
fuse meter good
fuse haz/turn good?
the tail fuse and tail relay most work or the HAZ switch is dead.
is the haz lamp dead? triangle ICON lamp?> in dash.

the schematic is below.
when you turn on the haz button , this sends 0v (ground) logic signal to the BCM puter.
and the turn /haz relay.
the blinker switch has its own inputs to the RELAY .
so one can fail and other work, and not stated, sadly.
its not really a relay its and electronics module.
(means testing it, is not relay like at all)
12v on both pins on left ? top.
in haz mode 0v on the yellow wire.?
if yes , yes, yes, then the relay is bad

the 48 slot is haz/blink relay module.

How do you change the front parking light bulb?

You can get to it from under the wheel arch, just loosen the plastic wheel arch liner and it will provide direct access to the rear of the lamp where the parking light bulb is located. That's on a long wheelbase grand vitara. I'm not sure if the short wheelbase one or the xl7 are the same as the light configuration is different.
