Follow the red battery cable from the battery to the end of the wire. It connects to the starter. Different locations for different engines.

Hi. the air filter is in a cylindrical looking device that is connected to the intake throttle body, via plastic flex hose. it runs horizontal. you will have to un clip the plastic housing and extract the filter. i will post a picture below.

replacing it can be done under hood, by removing brake booster hose and or by under the vehicle. disconnect first cable going to starter. then need to remove the two starter bolts and starter.
