This may help you visualize the repair:

There is a left-hand and right-hand locking mechanism.
One is in tool tray (left), and other (right) is hidden under the plastic tray far right side. Remove the wing nut that holds try in place and then nut that holds up spare tire carrier is under there.

what you are looking for is a program called ELSA this is where all vw and audi fixes are !

you need to take door trim off door and a triangular peice of to ge to the bolts area usually a #10 mm just tighten

You may be able to look on International sellers on Ebay, and see if they will mail out to you.

It should work out a lot cheaper this way.
