What is the idle relearn procedure for 2004 cadillac cts 3.6

The idle should relearn by itself within a minute or so if there are no other problems. Was the battery changed/disconnected? Why do you think you need an idle relearn?

How do I adjust the throttle body

The throttle bodies on most newer cars are not adjustable for its idle speed. If the Check Engine Light is on, go to the nearest auto parts store and get them to pull the error codes from your car's computer. Post the codes back here and we can give you a better answer to your question

I have a 2005 gmc Yukon how do you adjust the idle

idle is not adjustable Idle is control by IAC valve
if idle is high with a scanner look to data if trottle angle is at 0%
if it is at 1 or 2% this why rpm is high means for pcm trottle plate is open too much. adjust with scanner relearn.
hope it helps

2003 tahoe how to do a idle speed relearn 5.3

All you do is disconnect the battery NEGATIVE cable for 5 minutes and then reconnect, over the next few miles your system will relearn idle. This will not correct any idle problems such as stalling or erratic idle, this would be caused by other problems many of which WILL NOT SET FAULT CODES.

How do you do idle relearn for 98 altima

It does not have a relearn. There is an idle speed adjustment on the backside of the engine, where the air intake is located. It is to the back of cylinder #2. The 1998 Altima has mechanical AWU and the 2002 is the first year in the Altima family for a electronic AWU. AWU is Accelerator working unit.

1998 Honda Civic relearn idle

Just drive the car as you normally would and the CPU will automaticly relearn your driving habits and be fine. It may stall the first few miles till it learns you want it to continue to drive it. Just avoid heavy traffic areas the first few miles. I hope this helps you out.

Won't idle after replacing battery, engine dies.

Hansandfranz is 1/2 correct; the car does need an "Idle Relearn", but, you do NOT need a scan tool for this. The vehicle just needs to be driven for the ECu to relearn the "base idle".
Get in, drive it down the highway. Do some passing gear downshifts. Pull off to the side of the road, let it idle for 30 seconds, repeat 2 more times. Then, try to duplicate some "in-town" (stop & go") driving, for about 15 minutes.
This will reset the "base idle", and your stalling condition will disappear. Expect to have to do this again if you replace the battery. Very common; the Computer (ECU) loses the base idle parameters when the battery is disconnected. Easily rectified just by driving as mentioned above. Feel free to comment back if you have any other questions.
