Is this a hacking question, or how to repair my car?
repairs:
you can't
the ABS is telling you the brakes are failing
what more needs to be said about that?

ABS auto resets each time you turn key off then on.
if it sticks on the operators guide is clear, get it serviced.

Jeep Liberty How to fix Traction ABS EST Light Codes C1240 C123F Also a guy in a forum says that it might involve a recall of the DCX recall applying to ABS modules on many Chrysler, Dodge, & Jeep products including the Commander. I'd call your dealer and ask, they might fix it for free if it's a recall. http://www.jeepcommander.com/forums/5-general-commander-discussion/1483-esp-bas-traction-control-light-staying.html

ABS Light is on dashboard

Whenever this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM, SRS, TPMS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

Legend of Abbreviations. ABS Anti-lock brake system. TCS Traction control system, TCM Transmission control module, SRS Supplemental restraint system, BCM Body control module. TPMS Tire Pressure Monitor System

ABS/ Traction control light/BAS & brake light on in 2008 dodge grand caravan

It is safe to drive. You need a scan tool to get a code out of it. Could be as simple as a wheel speed sensor going bad. All of these lights will work together normally. The traction control uses the ABS to gain traction, and the Brake Assist System is part of the stability control. Also uses the ABS.

2008 jeep grand cherokee abs problem

Usually means the wheel sensor is bad or a wiring problem to that sensor. The warning lights are on to tell you those systems are turned off.

My BAS and traction lights are constanly on. what does that mean?

It means there is a problem in the abs or traction control system. You have to get the codes to find out what is causing the problem.Your regular brakes will work normally but you will not have abs or traction control.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Warning Light on the dash is illuminated all the time and it says, "BAS ESP"

This is the Brake Assistance/Electronic Stablilty malfunction light, it is the equivalent of an ABS (antilock brake) / electronic suspension control (traction control, rollover control, electronic suspension control) light. It basically means you have a problem in either your electronic ABS, traction control, or some other advanced electronic suspension control problem... Your car is fine to drive like it is, unless you detect some other driveability issue other than the dash light... (99.9% of the time it's something irrelevant and maybe stupid; that's what you get for driving electronic cars...) Your best bet to get rid of the light would be to get the car to an auto shop with a reader that can read ABS/EBS, brake and suspension codes to really find out why the light is on (usually a wheel speed sensor, or something like it...)
