On your truck, the headlight switch sends a ground signal to the central timer module. The module powers the headlights and other circuits. The module should be behind the driver side kick panel under the dash.
You may need a shop manual to get thru this. There is a body computer and a front control module that affects headlights among other things. The front control module has drivers for each light on each side. All of the lights use the same ground so that should be ok. The headlight switch sends a signal to the module and it controls the lights.
dodge uses a computer module in drivers kickpanel that send the power to all the headlights, taillights, amd dash lights. pull computer plugs out and look for corrosion, this is common. if corroded the clean it all away andreplace module
The relay is integral to the DRL module. The module is usually near the driver's side headlight and is powered by fuse 9. Diagrams are below. Please let me know if you have questions.
The headlight is actually a bulb inserted into a light module. You can remove the plastic light module by releasing the tension spring on the rear of the headliht housing inside your hood. Once the tension spring is released pull the plastic light module from the fender socket by gently pulling on the edges of the headlight. The module should pull out with some minor difficulty. Remove the bad bulb from the rear of the plastic bubble, and replace it with a new halogen bulb. Replace the module into the fender socket and reclip the tension spring(s). Not all that difficult of a job once you know how its accomplished.
