Sorry, your question is unclear. Are ypou wanting to fix a sensor? If so, what senso are you wanting to fix? Are you wanting to fix a transmission line? Do you mean the transmission cooler lines? Or are you talking about the wiring harness for a sensor?....Very confusing....

The average person can not fix this problem the only thing you can do is check the wiring harness that is connected to the transmission to make sure it is plugged in tight and make sure it is not damaged.If it looks OK take it to a Transmission shop.The transmission has to come out and the solenoid fixed and or replaced inside the transmission

This stuff works GREAT! You can buy it at any local auto part store for about $12. I added it to my 2001 Sonata that was shifting had from 3 to 4 (on the highway). I copied this info from there website. Google it and you'll find tons of reviews, all of which are good.

Your vehicle is horrendously notorious for internal transmission failure. You can try a product such as Lucas Transmission fix, available at most parts stores, and walmarts. I have used it in the past and it can be a cure all for transmissions. However no product can fix transmission failure. Have a transmission shop drinve and inspect your transmission, It most likely will require an overhaul.

sounds like you may not even have a 4th gear. worst thing is you may need a new transmission. try putting in some "Lucas Transmission Fix" it's like $12 at Autozone.. If that doesn't help, take it to a transmission shop and have them check inside your transmission to see if you need a new transmission or if it's something that could be fixed. It may even be a sensor.

Hi, I checked the transmission fluid level.  It is a bit high.  Read an article on web, it says high trans fluid level may cause transmission malfunction.  My technician took some fluid out to lower the level.  Not sure it will fix the problem yet.  Will let you know.
Do you think high trans fluid level may cause the problem I experienced?
