My best guess is plugs and/or plug wires, carb or distributor/points. If you haven't changed plugs, wires or points since '86, you are lucky it runs at all. Additionally, could be a crack in the distributor or problems with the coil wire.

it's possible your computer is going out-- had a later model doing the same and then finally would quit.  i'd stop, pour ice water on the brain under the hood and then away we would go.  had to change it out.

SOURCE: fluttering when letting off the gas

Ignition timing & carburetor adjustments are 2 of most likely culprits here. I would recommend a tune-up at a garage that has someone on staff that still knows carburetors. Too many adjustments to describe, unless you are experienced at them.

Could be low fuel pressure from a weak pump or clogged fuel filter. Check fuel pressure with key on, engine off-it should be 40-47 psi.

HOW MANY MILES ALOT IT REALLY SOUNDS LIKE YOUR O2 SENSOR OK LOCATED ON THE EXAUST PIPE CLOSE TO ENGINE UNDER THE HOOD THEY CONTROL YOUR FUEL MIXTUER FOR HOT AND COLD LIKE A CHOKE . IF ITS BAD THE ITS FLOODING IT OUT WHEN HOT AND YOU GET ROTTEN GAS MILAGE BECAUSE YOUR FUEL PRESSURES ARE FINE REGULATORS EITHER WORK OR THEY DON'T AND IT THEY DON'T YOUR TRUCK WON'T RUN O2 SENSORS GOING BAD DON'T ALWAYS GIVE A CODE OR A DASH LIGHT BECAUSE OF THE BAD GAS MILAGE AND BLACK SMOKE WHEN IT IS WARM ITS PRETTY OBVIOUS WHAT IT IS OK GOOD LUCK POHLCAT

At acceleration has fluttering effect and no power

as i read your description i assume that the fuel filter terminals are not thightend correctly any more, or that the new filter as not perfect sealed. see for remnants of fuel near the filter. if it is fuel wet there, then a leakage is the reason.

Other reasons are possible.

Stalling and fluttering

Have you checked your vacuum lines? Also the fuel filter or the gas line might need replacement.
