The procedure is to remove the axle from the vehicle and fit the proper boot
however as it is a costly procedure , there are replacement boots available from reputable auto spares shops that after the old boot has been cut off , will clip around the cv joint and seal together
there will be fitting instructions in the package and if you follow them to the letter , the replacement boot is as good as a genuine one

How to change cv boots on a 2007 kia sedona

for the amount of effort just buy a new front axle, they arent too expensive from a rebuilder and very easy to swap out since you typically remove the shaft to change the boot anyways. You could have issues from a boot that has been torn for too long letting dirt and debris in slowly wearing out the internals

Remove

You will have to get a pry bar in between the Trans and half shaft/ axle and use pushing force to remove. I've used leg power on certain cars to remove axle

I cant remove the metal end and spline inside of my kia sedona

Try to get a pry bar or large screwdriver between the CV housing and the transmission case. A little force may be required, but you have to pop the housing out of the transmission. A c-clip in a groove on the splined shaft is holding the shaft in, and must be popped outward, for the housing and shaft to be removed.

2005 KIA SEDONA OUTPUT SHAFT SEAL

Hi Phil, On the Spyder end of the shaft that fits into the gearbox there is a retaining clip. Did you knock it in securely? If you did then a seal may have become damaged when making the replacement. That will need replacement. Regards John

I was removing the rear seat in a Kia Sedona. However, the front clamps (of the seat) got attached to the rear bars and now I cannot get the seat out. Any advice? Thank you.

hi squeeze the bars together and it will release the clips for you. if you need more information someone on this kia forum had the same problem and was given the steps to-do it.

Roaring in front end of 2004 kia sedona. could be CV joint or bearing ?

most likely a wheel bearing. to determine which one, lift up the car so wheels are in the air. grab onto the strut spring, and spin the wheel. You should fell roughness in your hand on the wheel that is bad, the good wheel will fell smooth.
