I do have a few comments about front wheel bearings.
If you are considering replacing them yourself then asking questions about them indicates you neither have the skill, experience or tools to tackle the work.
Wheel bearings before they are fitted are delicate and must be treated accordingly and the cleaning and preparing of parts prior to assembly plays a big part in the life of the new bearing and can take as long as the reassembly.
My advice is to buy a repair manual and pay for a good professional to fit the first one while you observe...

I don't wish to insult you but replacing the front wheel bearing of a front wheel drive vehicle requires the sort of tool kit and skill level that if you need to ask how you do you do it you are unlikely to possess.
By the time a wheel bearing needs replacing it has been subjected to years of heat, cold and moisture and removing the bearing from the hub can be fraught with difficulties not covered by an average repair manual, difficulties which needs experience and equipment to overcome. As if that isn't bad enough the work needed to clean and prepare the hub to accept the new bearing needs the realisation the assembly is a piece of precision equipment requiring very high standards if the replacement bearing is to have the best chance of returning a good life-span. This is also true of actually fitting the new bearing where if pressure isn't applied correctly it can be ruined in a second or have it's working life seriously shortened.
I suggest you ask an experienced someone else to fit the bearing this time while you observe.
If the car is front wheel drive a puller is required to dismantle the hub a rather involved job better left to a mechanic .If rear wheel drive do the following. ( Applies to front wheel drive also.) Chock rear wheels,loosen front wheel nuts, jack up car, fit safety stands,remove wheel , remove grease cap from axle. remove split pin or locking nut on axle ,Remove hub, with a punch drive out the grease seal ,the tapered cone bearings can now be removed, the 2 bearing cups still in the housing will have to be pressed out ,all old grease has to be cleaned out. the new cones must be repacked with high temp bearing grease . tap in the seal with the lip facing inwards , slide on the hub fit the outer cone to the axle , the spacer and nut goes on next, tighten the nut to seat the bearings , spin the hub make sure its free to spin, back off the nut one eighth of a turn fit a new split pin or lock tab. fit grease cap and road wheel.
If they are not worn beyond tollerance they can be machined on the vehicle.
Also make sure its not tyres or wheel bearings.
remove wheel
remove brake caliper( leave the hose connected)
remove centre cap
remove split pin and lock
unscrew bearing hub nut
rotor should come off
fit new bearing races in new rotor
grease new bearings
fit inside bearing and seal
refit rotor, outer bearing,washer,nut,lock, splitpin and centre cap
(tighten nut until no play in bearing plus 1\8 of a turn)
refit caliper and wheel
bleed and test brakes before driving
it all depends on which type of bearings are fitted to the front hubs if there are 2 taper bearings fitted I:E one at either side of the hub then you can get away with knocking them out with a copper dollt. If it is one continuous bearing running through the hub then it is easer to press it out rather than trying to knock it out
no its a hub and bearing you have lift the truck remove wheels front remove caliper braket that hold the brake pads behind 4 bolt that hold the bearing cv joint nut in the middlehammer the bearing to loosen it up sometime there hard to remove after its off clean where the bearing goes so it will fit good if you have abs disconnect the connector reassemble good luck pierre p.s yes you can do that in our garage the only thing is you need some tolls
