I have a 2005 Nissan Titan Crew Cab. When I went to open door with key fob it would not open. Used both fobs, no luck. Used key, could not enter truck. Both fob batteries dead? But why won't key work

Five years ago this truck was broadsided and the driver's side was smashed in. Got fixed by insurance company, my battery was fried the first time I drove it. Returned to auto place and they fixed the problem so they said gave me a new battery but I have had electrical problems ever since.

If you cannot hear the solenoid in the door when you press the FOB, it is either a loose connection, bad solenoid, or the Body control module under the dash.

Hi,I have a Nissan primstar crew van 08.the key fob locks all the doors but will only open the drivers door I have to use the button on the dash to open all the rest.any suggestions??

Have you tried pushing the unlock twice on the fob? Most vehicles work in this way, push the button once and the drivers door unlocks, push it twice and all of the doors unlock. If this does not work for your vehicle you might get ahold of your local dealership and see if they can program the body control module to operate how you want it to.

Alarm key fob set off alarm

If you lock the car with the key, you must open it with the key, or alarm will sound. If you lock on fob you must open on fob. If you use ke y, place in ignition quickly to silent alarm. Good luck

The key fob for my car will not unlock the doors or start the engine

You say that your key fob does not unlock the car. Try to open the door ordinary and try to start the car. If the car wont start means that your key fob has lost the program and needs re-programing. The other option is either you by any case confused the key fob with the standard key which is only to unlock the doors. The last senario is when you have opened the key fob to check the battery lost the microchip and that is the reason for not starting. Check following my advice. Good luck.

Won't open my door when I press unlock, key won't open door either

can you manually unlock the lock and open the door?? Is it more than one door or just one specific door? If its just one door, yourcactuator inside the door may be bad or you have a wire issue. If its all the doors, more than likely you blew a fuse or a relay(id say fuse)

Just bought a 2003 Nissan Navara 2nd hand. Has central locking but no remotes were handed with it, how can i find out if this vehicle has remote central locking or not

The remote should be built into the key. If not the remote central locking would be after-market. After-market remote central locking is part of an anti theft device so the fob you get with the key's has two function's it opens the door and disables the imobliser. If it had a fob and it was'nt with the key's then the ignition would'nt work so the car would'nt start. So it dosent have remote locking. Before giving up check the dash and suround's for a small either green or red light which looks like it was installed after-market if their is one then it still may have remote locking but was disabled for some reason but although it is there unless you really need it don't bother with it because you will need to get it rewired then get a fob which will need to be programed. Hope this help's Cheer's

Key fob remote start issues

You need to get one that works on the same wide range frequency as the reciever in the car, and then it's a simple matter of opening both the new and old fobs, and matching the fine frequency settings by putting the little switches inside where they should be according to the old fob's switches. If there are no switches in the old fob, it's preset and there's not much you can do about it.
