No because if the phone connection works, it means the radio amplifier works. You either have a radio stage issue or an aerial issue. In fact it appears to be a well known issue!

these are the fuses that the Jeep factory pulls just before shipping
car so the battery dont drain, New jeeps.

they operate all computers on board, PCM/BCM, radio, NAV, etc, to the max on newer cars,
these are mostly memory fuses so the brain on the end DONT FORGET its programming, Errors and configurations and learn modes.

Check the antenna for a good ground, if the antenna is ok have the radio removed and repaired by a factory repair center.

their is a wiring coinnection under the seat then this goes to the bottom of the seat belt explosive piston where their is another connection ,just clean all connections and smear some vasoline on the electrical connectors ,works about 80% of the time without the need for a OBDII computer reset

I had same prob with Grand Cherokee - no rhyme nor reason as to when, where or why it wouldn't start. After two new starters the shop finally found a starter wire/cable that was corroded on the inside. Mech' could move it back and forth and it would / would not start. Changed cable six months ago - no problems since. Hope it helps.

highly recommend installing a factory remote starter system if not install properly will have all kind of problems, go to any chrysler jeep dodge dealer and buy a factory system, they do have simple instructions
