Generally speaking, if a window motor goes out, it's usually the driver side front, first, because you use it so much. I can't be positive that the motor is faulty? Do the other windows work? In the past, I've removed window motor and laid under the hood, used jumpers wires from window motor to battery for voltage and ground. If the motor won't do anything, it's a good bet, it is faulty. good luck

Electric car windows will not close properly -every onr of them

POWER WINDOWS NOT WORKING & POWER WINDOW/REGULATOR ISSUES

It can be issue with motor itself. If it's not going up, then how its working down. But still it feels like weak window motor or is issue with power window switch. Get the voltage tested at switch and motor. Also try another working window motor at not working window side.

You have to remove the inner door panel to
access the window regulator

You remove the regulator & then the motor from it

You Tube Video will provide a visual of several
similar window motor replacement jobs

Go there-- enter your car,question ,details,etc--- then move
around the site to watch various things

Thank yo for the schematic Ernesto. It says Nissan 1996, so is the 2008 still using the same schematic?

It can be issue with motor itself.If its not going up,then how its working down.But still it feels like weak window motor or is issue with power window switch.Get the voltage tested at switch and motor.Also try another working window motor at not working window side.

Electric window not working

one power window not working could be window switch or window motor see if other windows will work from master switch on driver side if yes window switch is faulty,if driver side window is the one not working.check see if power going to switch and window motor the window motor could be in a bind remove disconnect the glass from window regulator see if window moves up and down not bind if yes windows move up and down the window motor is faulty or window regulator bad.

One window will not work

if the master switch dont make window work has to be the window motor. if its the driver side window where master switch is.remove window switch shake wires will working the switch if window try moving switch is bad. if power is at the window switch and using test light to see if power going to window motor if no window motor bad if power going to the power window motor and its trying to move window and you can hear motor working the window regulator causing binding keep window glass from going up or down.

Rear power windows not working

One common problem that occurs with faulty power windows is a faulty Chrysler Town and Country window motor. You can obtain access to your Town and Country window motor by removing your interior door panel, where you will also find your window regulator.

The window regulator is a collection of gears and arms that controls the up and down motion of your windows, and your window motor is the component responsible for turning those gears when you press your window switches. If your windows are not working, your first step should be to determine whether the problem lies with your window regulator, or your Chrysler Town and Country window motor.

You can often do this by listening when you press your window switch. If you hear a humming or a grinding sound, this usually means that your window motor is still trying to work, but your regulator is stuck. However, if you don't hear anything at all, then there may be a problem with your fuses, your wiring, or your Town and Country window motor. Power Window not working

which window? dettatch the door panel sidings and press the up and down switch of the window motor if the thing does't work, you may have to change the motor. there are cheap replacement motors you can buy. but if the motor is still working, maybe it's just stucked up. for some reasons like that particular window was not ofttenly used. try spraying a wd40 on the motor and the rods. and put a vinyl safe lubricant on the rubbers of the window where the glass slides. hope this helps thanks.
