Same on all cars.
1: remove neg. lug of battery first. (or BOOM eat acid)
2: remove all wires from starter.
3: unbolt it. it falls to hands.

getting to it is another matter and question.
the 4 buck fsm covers this.. why not read the official books?
we have posted this answer on forenza here like 10 times.
why repeat that?
there are 4 engines used world wide.
but only the 2.0L twin cam here, in usa are you USA? we cant guess countries here...... eva.
i have posted the engine views too.

it's located HERE. 2.0L only.
gaining access to it, is the only real question,
is that your question?
that depends on hand size, tools (extension /universals,etc)
if hands are huge, it may take intake man. removal.
doing from under car would be very hard, unless had spaghetti arms. or (rubber man arms)
if you can't reach it , it's obvious, right? that which is in the way must come off.
x marks the spot....

What size star but do I need to remove the starter from my 06 forenza

Ok guys. Here is the starter removal process that works on a 2006 Suzuki Forenza. Secure the vehicle on jack stands & engage the parking brake. There are three bolts connected to the solenoid & two blots holding the mounting bracket. The first bolt is on the same side as the solenoid. To get to the second bolt with ease, you should first remove the air intake from the throddle body to gain access to the second mounting bolt. I used a 19 inch socket & a couple of extensions to remove the bolt. You will see the bolt by looking down past the iac valve on the drivers side of the engine. There is also a hose bracket connected to the bolt & you can trace the bolt to the starter. Problem solved.

Car wont start, it just makes a clicking almost grinding sound. 2004 suzuki forenza. We tried to replace spark plugs but cant figure out where they are in this car.

If the starter is not even turning the engine over, then it probably a starter/solenoid issue. If the spark plugs were bad, the car would still turn over but not start (or would run poorly).

Recommend removing your starter and taking it to (almost) any auto parts store to have it tested for free.
