SOURCE: 1-4 misfire

I'd say you need to replace the 1-4 coil pack. Any changes to the working of the pack have to be tested after the primary source with much more elaborate equipment. The coil pack is easy to replace and will save time and money for testing. Thanks, Dana

No spark on #2cylinder

Year make and model? coil pack or coil on plug? If you have coil packs and just #2 replace the coil pack/s If you have coil on plug, Then you need to check the wiring. One wire will be hot(B+) with the key on. The other will go on and off to ground when cranking the engine. This is assuming you also check the plug wire/boot and made sure it isn't shorting out to the engine.

YUO'LL FIND 2 COIL PACKS.HAVE TO UNSCREW EACH COIL PACK USE A 10ML REPLACE PLUGS AND PUT BACK THE COIL PACK. BE CAREFUL WITH THE PLUGS AT THE END OF THE COIL PACK THEY BREAK EASY WHEN PUTING BACK THE AIR INTAKE MAKE SURE THERE IS NO LICKING AIR ANY WHERE OTHERWISE YOUR CAR WILL NOT START

Low acceleration and no power

i would take those 2 coils off and check the backing of the packs. any discoloration indicates they are bad or going bad. coils may be working, but not to full potential due to grounding issues.

Not getting spark

Testing the coil packs.

1. Get an INSULATED wire and hook it to a ground on the car.
2. Get some one to help you
3. pull a spark plug wire off the coil
4. hold grounded wire close to, but not touching, the part where the spark plug wire connects
5. keep hands away from coil and have your helper turn the engine over ( start car and turn off)
6. if there was a spark between the wire and the coil pack it is good. if not, the coil pack needs replaced
7. replace the spark plug wire
8. test the rest
