SOURCE: 2005 Dodge Magnum w/out hemi stalling

I have a 2005 Magnum and was also having this problem. Stalled out a few times and continued to idle rough and feel like it was going to die when I would slow down. At times it would feel like I would get a hesitation and then a surge. Engine light would go on for a day or so, then go out for a few days. First time I took it in, the dealership told me that it was a broken seal (I don't know where), but they replaced it and it continued to happen. The second time I took it to a mom & pop shop, and they told me that it was the oxygen sensor/altimeter, replaced it (only a $35 part), and I haven't had a problem since. That was 6 months ago. Hope this helps...

SOURCE: what does this mean on my 2005 dodge magnum

the esp stands for electronic stability program, you will need to have the computer scanned for codes, these codes will help in the repair, you may have a bad speed sensor or the check engine light may have shut down the esp, when the engine detects a problem it shuts down the esp because it feels that the esp cant operate correctly when the engine is not running correctly,so the first thing is to scan for the codes, hope this helps, good luck,

P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction OBD-II Trouble Code Technical Description Article by Dale Toalston ASE Certified Technician Transmission Control System TCS Malfunction What does that mean? Many vehicles have a control module for the automatic transmission called a transmission control module (TCM). The engine control module (ECM) communicates with the TCM to monitor the automatic transmission for faults. If the TCM detects a fault in the automatic transmission and sets a transmission related fault code, the ECM is informed of this also and sets a P0700 in the ECM memory. This illuminates the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) to let the driver know there is a problem. If this code is present and the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) is illuminated that basically means there is at least one transmission code set in the TCM's memory. P0700 is an informational code only. It doesn't point to a direct fault in the engine, only a general fault in the transmission. More diagnosis is necessary to identify what the transmission fault is. This requires a scan tool that will communicate with the transmission module. Symptoms Symptoms of a P0700 DTC may include: Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination The transmission may exhibit drivability problems like slipping, etc. Causes More often then not, the cause of this code is that there is a transmission problem of some kind. The TCM detected the problem and set a code. P0700 means that a fault code is stored in the TCM. However this doesn't rule out the possibility of a failed PCM or TCM (unlikely). Possible Solutions For a P0700 the only real solution is to acquire a scan tool that will communicate with the transmission control module. Extracting this code from the TCM will be the first step in repairing the fault in the transmission. If the TCM compatible scan tool will not communicate with the Transmission Control Module then that is a good indication that there may be a fault with the TCM itself. I have a 2005 dodge grand carvan What do the codes p0700 and p0562 mean? and how do i fix it ?

P0700 is generic transmission code, transmission malfunction.. Have it read with a scanner to find the exact code. p0562 is battery voltage is low. Check positive and negative cables for corrosion and good connection. Also check the engine and body grounds. Make sure you have a engine to body strap/ground. They break. This could be the reason you're getting the p0700 code.

Codes 3, 61 on a 2005 dodge magnum

P0003 is fuel circuit volume low and P0061 is 02 sensor bank 2 sensor 3 heater circuit.

Generally a heater code usually means replace the 02 sensor. The heating element popped, kinda like a litght bulb does.

The 03 code will need further diagnosing to determine the exact cause.
