Why does truck run roughly when idling and blows white smoke when driving?

sounds like a head gasket.. running rough from loss of compression in one cylinder and it's burning antifreeze causing the white smoke

When i start in the morning my 320d bmw litlbit smoke and engine shaking.after 5-10 minit when wom up then ok evre thing, please can let me know what is the problem???thank you.

perhaps some water condensation in the empty tank that then caused the smoke and shaking during warming up.

Refill with good branded Diesel a full tank and have a drive for 30 mins possibly warming at high revs (or low gear to warm faster)
Enjoy

Bmw series 320d e90

After 10 minutes of ran time, check for white smoke at tailpipe.

White smoke = blown head gasket.

Check out www.steelseal.com video for more info.

Bmw 320 d 150 bhp rough idling when starting cold

seems like theres a build up of carbon in the intake. you can try the pour in gas tank cleaners for fuel injection cars which you have and after 2 or 3 of those with 2 or 3 full tanks it will clean the injectors and the carbon out of the intake. And if you really want to get them cleaned up even better and stop all the rough idling, take the intake off yourself and clean all the black stuff off anywhere you see it. Thats the carbon build up. Especially on the butterfly valve area. It will not only run better for you but get better gas mileage as well.

Car runs fine then power loss till switch of engine then ok again

You MUST have the electronic engine control module scanned for fault codes to even begin to diagnose the cause of this.

I have a BMW 320D 2004 Facelift. If it idles a while and I start riding it pours out blue&White smoke abut if I excellerate it dissapears after a while. Please help with some info. Mu Turbo was relaced...

Crankcase breather/filter. Good clean condition? Too much internal engine
pressure can cause turbo seals to leak. Oil doesn't drain off freely
and there is extra pressure against the seals.
