Two OBDII codes. How to fix?

2009 Dodge Sprinter 2500 is throwing out two codes. 1st code is P0101 & a week later the 2nd code came in P242F. It only has 68,000 miles on it. Is this a normal Mercedes issue? I use an OBDII reader & erase the codes but they come back.

P0101, mass air flow circuit range, P242F appears to be a non code , may mean don't forget to repair previous code. Check and repair mass air flow problem . then delete code, code will reappear if fault not fixed.

Selecting Drive in an auto box will take you straight to Drive.
To select 1st or 2nd, select them.
It will no go into overdrive or high until the vehicle is up to speed.

Hey guys, I have a 2008 dodge sprinter 2500 throwing a code P242F auxiliary emission controls and P0227 TPS switch c circuit low imput. I replaced the TPS, but i'm still on reduced power and still throwing...

Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "C" Circuit Low Input
p242f is bogus try typing that 1 more time.

my wild guess, is you dont have FSM or access to alldata.com?
and guess 2, (im too lazy to look it up) its a flyby wire car?
if yes, then you need training on flyby wire, its COMPLEX.
guessing and throwing parts is very expensive on FBW, 10x so.

if you know understand FBW, then read the FSM ,it covers all this in great and complex details.

FBW is, you tell ECU how fast you want to go, and it does ALL that magic. (short version)

do you want guessing, or real tests.
say so please.
for $15 low bucks , you can read all night, and be ready in the morn.
discounted here,
http://www.scantool.net/software/alldata-diy-1-month-subscription.html

btw2, are you going to spend $2000 on parts.
just to find an air leak?
here is the #1 rule for EFI,
the ECU/PCM NEVER !, knows what part is bad!
it only knows what monitor test failed (DTC'S)
that takes a human, to conduct more tests to find truth.
this is a fact. knowing this one fact, would make most parts
stores go broke fast... .I promise.

I have a 2005 Dodge Sprinter 2500. Battery exploded when I turned the ignition on. New Battery got installed but when I turned on the radio a signal appeared CODE. What does this mean?

any time the battery is removed without a memory saver the radio gets locked-this is for security purposes-if you bought the vehicle brand new there should be a radio code card in with your owners manual-if not you will have to contact a dodge dealer to get the new radio code or to get it reset-if you have to go to dodge for the code i recommend writing it down in case it happens again

I have a 2005 dodge sprinter. i just changed the intake house and found oil in it. is this normal? i also have PO299 reading on my obdII tool.

Normal to have oil in hoses, Not sure what that code is? Some scan tool codes don't correspond with the factory codes. Do you have a manual for the scan tool? it should tell you what it is, otherwise it doesn't mean anything

P242F Bank1Sensor3 sprinter fault codes 07 Sprinter 2500

Bank one is the side on a V or H engine where cylinder number one is located. On an in-line engine you only have a bank one, no bank 2. Sensor 3 will be the third sensor from the engine in the exhaust stream.
