I'm not sure what model of vehicle you have, Andrew.

Thomas' suggestion is a good place to start.

Also check that the connector to the rear light cluster is attached properly.

Hi Andrew,on your brake pedal is a brake stop switch attached to it,look at it and push in with your hand to see if it's working,may have came loose or is bad.

It sounds like you might have a broken wire somewhere if you have no back brake lights.

The brake lights and reverse lights do not work

I am assuming the rest of the lights work fine?If they do it is not likely a fuse because a fuse would be associated with more than just the rear lights.Have you checked bulbs?It is not necessary to check all of them but I would at least check 1 of both systems.

If the two rear brake light are working on each side, then fuse and relay are good, check the bulb.

Rear turn signals and brake lights out. Front signals and rear tail lights work fine.

the brake lights and the rear turn signals should be the same bulb check the bulbs to make sure they are not blown does your third brake light work if all brake light are out and the bulbs are good check the brake light switch on the brake pedal

Brake lights not working but third brake light works?

Check your fuse for the brakes, if fuse is blown replace. If not fuse go buy a package of brake light bulbs at the auto store. Then replace the bulbs.

have you checked the earthing continuity-if it's this other bulbs may also partly light when brakes used
otherwise-
Check continuity of live from center to lh & rh lights and/or is there a live at those lights

see if you have power going to the break light. it may be bad bolb.or broken wires

Right brake light out; tail light works fine

most rear tail lights and turn/stop lights are the same dual filiment bulb. it is possible for your tail light to work and your brake light not to and still have a bad bulb. I would check the bulb first, your brake light works on the left yes? this would mean that the fuse is fine

Left rear brake light stopped working but bulb and fuses are OK.

These are Dual Function Bulbs. They control the Parking Lights and the Brake Lights. This Bulb is Burnt out on the Brake Coil inside the Bulb. I have actually seen Bulbs that were Bad But you could not Tell by jast looking at them. It should be fine with a New Bulb. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
