The seat belt warning chime is controlled by the central timer module ! You can't just disconnect fuses , other things may stop working !
Safety Belt Warning Indicator Lamp and Chime
The safety belt indicator and chime feature is controlled by the CTM. The driver safety belt switch is hardwired to the CTM. If at any time during the first 60 seconds after the ignition switch is placed in position II, if the driver safety belt is sensed as being unfastened, the CTM will process the input, and in turn, output a signal to the CTM through a hardwired circuit. In turn the CTM will output a visual warning to the instrument cluster. If at any time during the first six seconds after the ignition switch is place in position II and the safety belt is not fastened, the safety belt warning chime will sound.
When the seat belt is connected the warning still chimes ? Could have code stored in the CTM .

Reset alarm 2001 mitsubishi

The method of deactivation depends upon which of two different alarm systems is in your vehicle. Each system requires a different method. The two systems: enhanced and basic. If the car will not crank while the alarm is going off, you are dealing with the enhanced system. A small red LED is on the left side of the dash. Hold it down (depresses only slightly) while turning the ignition key to the start position. The starter should engage. Relese the key.

With the basic system, the car cranks but the alarm continues. use the key to unlock the dirver's door, or both doors, or both doors and the tail gate.

The immobilizer system has become "confused" by the disconnection. If one of these two methods above has worked, you need read no further.

Probably one of the following procedures actually "confused" the system: https://www.wikihow.com/Reset-a-Factory-Car-Alarm. That falls under no good deed goes unpunished.

There are also other methods sometimes attempted: https://www.wikihow.com/Reset-a-Factory-Car-Alarm.

The sad reality is that different brands have different deactivation methods: https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-reset-a-security-system

But back to YOUR vehicle, You would think your user manual would give you some guidance regarding the immobilizer.

If you have a keyless fob, it can be used to disarm either system by pushing the unlock button on it while the alarm is going off.

Seat belt alarm doesnt shut off when Waring seat belt i want to disconnect the alarm

Probably just as easy to repair the fault than to disconnect or remove the alarm, which could be just plugged into the fuse box or more likely buried in the dashboard to discourage people from disconnecting it.

The alarm is generally switched off by a switch built into the seatbelt stalk. The presence of wires will verify this. The wires might have been damaged or become unplugged or the switch stopped working. Lots of dust and stuff finds its way down there.

I suggest you take care not to confuse any wiring for seatbelt pretensioners.

What would make the car alarm, seat belt and back up alarms not work

The fuse in the control box.

It will be a square one about 25

This will control the alarm module and also the gear shift alarm and seat belts

Seat belt is chiming while buckled in. Tried various methods to disable it, seems to be a faulty mechanism. I want to simply remove/cut the alarm - where is it located?

Make sure you have nothing laying on a passenger seat since these are also equipped with sensors.
If these are free, try checking under your seat for wiring that has been damaged or become disconnected.

Airbag

Yes, the airbag/restraint light is often triggered by a disconnected seat belt safety plug located under the driver's seat. Some people disconnect this plug so the vehicle will not chime the alarm while the seat belt is disconnected.

My 1997 buick lesabre keeps blowing fuses. first it blew the turn signal fuse which is a 20 amp replaced it with a 20 and it blew when i turned on the signal. put in a 25 to see if it would work and it...

I strongly suggest your first priority will be to discover why your tail lights are seemingly consuming many times more current than they should. A 30 amp fuse has less resistance than a 10 amp though the difference is hardly measurable.

I suspect when that is sorted out the other faults could disappear without further effort.

It is time to find a circuit diagram and to trace the tail light wiring from the supply to the lamps in order to discover what went wrong.

Dont know were the seatbelt alarm fuse is in my fuse box what number slot it goes in

i don't recall ever seeing a seat belt alarm fuse in any car at any time. if the seat belt buzzer is on a fuse protected circuit then there would also be other things on the same circuit. if you suspect a blown fuse then look for other things that quit working at the same time but if you just want your car to ******* because you refuse to wear your seat belt then connect the seat belt and sit on top of it.

Poorly electrics on volvo s40 after valet - what do I do

Check your fuses, if all are operational make sure they a seated properly. We have this type of problem, but live on a dirt road and the vibrations sometimes unseat the fuses. An easy way to check is to see if these problems go away if; when the car is running you give the fuse panel, under the glove box, a solid whack with your open hand. This is a temporary fix we utilize three of four times a year.
