Sounds like air is shooting out when accelerating. Could this be an exhaust leak? Plugs, coils, hoses seem fine. Noise is coming from passenger side under engine sounds like.

Yes could very well be an exhaust leak.but that should be kinda loud and annoying..also u could have a slight whistling sound coming from ur air intake hose coming from air cleaner box to ur intake or throttle body or ur air inlet goin to the motor. when the motor is accelerated it would produce a high pitch sound like a whistling .hope this can help

Yes, it's a high pitch air sound that reminds me of a machine gun that shoots air. "Shh shh shh shh etc. It definitely sounds louder under the vehicle. I will check the hoses but, if not the hoses do you think it's an exhaust problem and not something like a dirty egr valve?

Could be that your cat is clogged up,the way to check is to remove and look in both ends, mine clogged up and caused my head gasket to blow between cylinder 3 and 4 on my 85 Nissan 720,part of the inside came apart and was blocking the air flow, causing my exhaust plugs to blister.

Coolant leaks heavily from passengers side. Started yesterday morning on the way to work. I noticed the vents weren't blowing hot air. Then I noticed the car start to overheat. I didn't drive any more...

Ok, may i suggest that you check your HEATER COIL, you can located it by pulling up " HEATER COIL" for your specific vehicle, this is what your coolant travels thru while hot and air passes thru this coil to produce the heat to warm your vehicle and typically the heater coils are located on the passenger side. Now as far as the leak location, check heater coil connections it could be the coil itself. GOOD LUCK!

2002 saab 9-3 turbo car starts and runs when driving during acceleration turbo boost shoots to the red and car shuts down P0300 random misfire what can I do.

by the sound of it you could have one or both of these problems.
1. a vacuum leak which is causing the car to over boost.
2. ignition fault which is causing the car to die.

1. look in the engine bay and look for small rubber hoses, check all you can find and look for cracks or splits. make sure you check the small rubber hose on the turbo itself.

2. you may have a faulty spark plug, coil pack, HT lead (depending on which engine you have)

1 is probably your boost problem
2 is your cutting out problem
i hope this helps

My 2000 rodeo manual trans. had a loss of power

This sounds like a restricted exhaust system, may have a clogged cat-converter,i would start by checking the exhaust system, and also check the engine for loose vacuum hoses

Popping sound coming from under the passenger side, usually only when truck is first accelerated. Seems like after it warms up a little it stops.

So its sounds like an exhaust leak? If so check exhaust flange bolts where it bolts to the exhaust manifold. One of the bolts are rotted off causing the exhaust to open slightly until truck warms up.
