Put the car up and check for visual signs of were it is leaking. sounds like its leaking up by the top of the tank. you will have to drop the tank, do this with it nearly empty, it could be even a worn seal.

Ive got an 1988 corvette sometimes it takes 3-7 tries to start whether cold or warm and other times it starts fine and has also stalled out while driving down road

Sounds like it could be a fuel pump or a fuel pressure regulator depending on the engine you have. Usually when it takes more than a second or two of turning it over before it will start means the fuel is going back down the line when not running. This can be because of a leak, not fuel leaking out but air leaking in, the fuel system or it can be as easy and a gas cap not properly venting/letting air into the tank as the tank empties. If it doesn"t let air in the tank, then the fuel that is being pumped out is creating a vaccum and sucking the fuel back into the tank when you shut the car off. Try opening the gas cap and letting some air get in just before you shut the car off. Then if it fires right up next time you know you need to replace the gas cap. If not check for vaccum leaks around the intake. Good luck.

Check engine light indicator is on...after total

Obviously you have something above the tank that's leaking. That will result in a code the same as a bad or loose gas cap. At this point, the only way you can find the source is to take a good look at everything, even if it means dropping the tank to do that. (better than wasting fuel or having a fire start under there).

1992 corvette my gas gauge stays on full it was working i filled the car up stays on full now

Sounds like the float is stuck on the sensor in the tank. You could try takeing a rubber mallet when the tank is near empty and rap on the under side or any where you have access. If this doesn't work you may have to drop the tank and replace the level sensor.Well good luck and hope this helps.

1999 corvette. Code po442 comes up. Replaced gas

purge valve happens, but it's more on the rare side. The most common you have already fixed. I've seen the cross pipe between the two fuel tanks leak and also the lines on top of either tank and the evap line going from the tank to the engine. Also you should check the vent valve (the more I think about it the more I'd lean tword a vent valve). Now to get to that the car needs to be up in the air. You cannot get to it unless you get it up or you are really really skiny.
Good luck

I have a gas leak at the tank. When I fill to full, gas leaks out

you might try looking to see if the filler tube is cracked and leaking if it is you could replace it and that will take care of the check engine lite depending on what code is being set
