When I depress my clutch the gears will not engage

If a hydraulic clutch, the fluid is low or has leaked, leading to air getting in the system. Thus the clutch will not disengage and let go of the gearbox.

If a cable clutch the cable has broken or gone right out of adjustment.

Also check the clutch pedal return spring, as these do break due to wear on the attachment hooks.

My 1999 troy lee b2500 will not ital

If it's really rough, check for dirty or stuck EGR. It just slightly rough and also you have to depress gas pedal a bit to start, check IAC (idle air motor). If gas mileage is also bad check coolant temp sensor.

After sitting for 10 days, clutch is stuck. at first it depressed to the floor and stuck. then I pulled it back, now it won't depress.

check all the linkage to the pedal, if it looks good you will need to pull the trans to check the clutch assembly and through out bearing and the sleeve it rides on

Clutch won't engage

There is a problem with the pressure plate spring or possibly the throwout bearing is bound up,you should be able to pull the rubber boot from around the clutch fork and have someone depress the pedal, you should be able to see if it's a problem with the bearing.Unfortunatly the trans is probably going to have to caome off.

Stuck clutch pedal

you have a leak in the clutch hydraulic system. without the spring tension from the clutches pressure plate the the pedal wont return. it is likely that the leak is at the slave cylinder, which is inside the bell housing. to replace it the transmission must be removed.

Brake light on every time.

Hi,

Check the foot pedal switch first to see if is working correctly and not stuck, and that the pedal actually disconnects when returned.

If this is ok, you will have to trace the live feed back to the source, starting at the bulb, and working back.

Are you certain it is the brake light, and not a rear side light? These can be left on when the ignition is off, wheras brake lights usually can't
