no. If you have your radio on blue tooth discovery anyone can blue tooth pair to it.

I just got my blue tooth ear phone to work with my laptop, sounds like you want blue tooth car to pickup on your phone speech and sound. You probably have to enable blue tooth on your phone and connect to the bluetooth receiver in the car. Probably be good if blue tooth receiver is on so phone sees the signal, that's the way mine worked, it showed that device, I clicked it to connect. Hope that helps.

you can try disconnection the power to the radio for 5 minutes (all the power not just the main power) then reconnect it and see it it reset.

the manual is available form ebay, usually for under £5.
i would advise you to check with your jaguar dealer first though, as quite a lot of s and x types (mine included) had the radio, and all the keys to suggest the blue tooth connection, but did not actually have the blue tooth connection unit fitted.
your dealer will be able to tell you if your car actually had the unit fitted, or if the keypad that you can see fitted in your console is just there to fill up the space.

Look in your owners manual under entertainment. If its a cadillac it will have blue tooth available thru the radio. It usually even has a button on the radio with the bluetooth symbol. Just activate it on your phone or hands free device, and press the blutooth button while its searching.

i dont think the cars radio is Bluetooth

if it isnt you need to buy a blue tooth module for the car

I pretty sure that the 07 didn't come equiped with blue tooth. If it did there will be a controlfor it on the left side of the stering wheel under the radio control vol, up down and mode button. If you dont have the control you don't have blue tooth.
